Grimsby Farmers' Market shared a post.

A beautiful day of mixing a new batch of barrel compost. Fresh manure mixed with crushed eggshells and powdered basalt. Mix for one hour, then dump half in the underground pit. Add Biodynamic Preps 502-507, than top with the remaining manure. Once fully composted, (a year) this will be a very powerful input for our farm. It will have the consistency of fine peat, and absolutely chock full of beneficial microbes.
